Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the CURT Four-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2023 Subaru Impreza. Now, if you've added a hitch to your Impreza, it's not a bad idea to pick up some four-pole trailer wiring harness. That way, in case you ever pull a trailer, you can hook up to this four-pole, giving you your running lights, your turn signals, and brake lights. And this is a nice easy system because it plugs directly into your factory taillights with factory style connectors. So there's not a whole lot of cutting, or cutting and splicing that you really have to do. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2009 Subaru Impreza- Video
All right, today in this 2009 Subaru Impreza we are going to install Part No. C56111 from Curt. First thing we need to do is lift up the back hatch so we can get access to the taillights. There will be two bolts on each taillight that we have to remove so that we can take the taillight off. Once we have the bolts removed, we gently pry or pull straight back so that we can release the taillight from the car. Then we need to release the wire harness from the taillights. There is a small tab that we can push down and it unlocks it and we can pull it apart. Once we have our taillights disconnected, we go ahead and set them off to the side. Now we can go ahead and start installing our wiring harness. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2010 Subaru Impreza- Video
Today on this 2010 Subaru Impreza, were going to install part number C56111 from Curt. The first step is to go ahead and open up the back hatch so well get to the fasteners and remove the two tail lights. The fasteners are gone. Well go ahead and pull the tail light straight back then well get to the wire harness. Well push down a little tab so we can remove it. Okay, with the drivers side done, well go ahead and repeat the same process on the passengers side. more
